ai automation for home services

From the first call to a job your team can act on.

SOORVO designs AI reception, lead response and connected workflows for home-service businesses. Give the office usable job details, keep dispatch in control and carry the customer’s request through the next handoff.

How engagements work

The operating reality

A request is only the beginning of the job.

An HVAC repair, plumbing call, electrical inquiry or roofing estimate needs more than a name and number. The office needs the property, service area, problem, timing and existing customer history before it can choose the next step. A useful automation carries those details forward without pretending that every inquiry is ready to book.

The distinction is practical: Jobber’s documentation separates requests, assessments, quotes and jobs. Our starting point is the same kind of operational question: what has actually been approved, and who can commit the crew? We map your process before connecting the phone, website and field-service system.

Calls without usable context

A callback note says “AC problem” but leaves out the service address, preferred contact and whether the office is already handling it.

Schedules that look open

An empty calendar slot does not establish the right trade, travel time, equipment or crew capacity.

Estimates without a next action

A customer replies to an old quote while the follow-up sequence continues as though no one answered.

Example setup

A service request moving into ServiceTitan.

One example for a roofing or home-service company: capture the request first, prepare the permitted system action second, and leave urgency, assignment and scope with the office.

A concrete configuration to picture — not a claim that every account exposes the same integration options.

How SOORVO evaluates integrations

01 / Request

Work arrives

A missed call or estimate request arrives with an address and a reported service need.

02 / SOORVO

Prepare the next action

Capture the approved intake details, match the customer or property where possible, and prepare the next action.

03 / ServiceTitan

Use the permitted system path

Use the ServiceTitan path available to that account for the permitted record, task or scheduling handoff.

04 / Human ownership

Judgment stays visible

The dispatcher or estimator confirms urgency, crew assignment, scope and any commitment to the customer.

Illustrative configuration. ServiceTitan is shown as a recognizable example, not as a SOORVO partner or a fixed stack. Exact automation depends on the vendor capabilities, account tier, permissions and integration access available to the customer.

Want to see this mapped against the tools and handoffs you already use?

Discuss your systems

Fits the tools you already use

Connect intake to the system that runs the field.

We first check what your current tools already do. A native feature may be enough; a custom connection is useful where information or ownership breaks between systems.

Our approach to technology & integrations
Website, phone and email

Capture requests and preserve their source.

Before connectingContact preferences, service-area questions and the fallback when the office cannot be reached.

Field-service platform

Hold customers, properties, requests, estimates and jobs.

Before connectingAvailable integration access, duplicate matching and which records the connection may change.

Dispatch and calendars

Keep accepted appointments and assignments authoritative.

Before connectingCapacity, trade requirements, arrival windows, cancellations and stale availability.

Billing and communications

Carry approved closeout and customer updates forward.

Before connectingApproval points, message history and prevention of duplicate invoices or reminders.

Build the boundary, too

Automation needs a clear place to stop.

Decide who can approve, change or override an action before the workflow goes live.

No diagnosis by conversation

Reception captures what the customer reports. Technical advice and on-site decisions remain with qualified staff.

No invented availability

A booking is confirmed only when the agreed scheduling system accepts it. Failed writes create a visible office task.

No silent duplicate work

Repeated calls, forms and retried events should resolve to the same request where the evidence supports a match.

How SOORVO approaches the build

Start with the request your office has to rescue.

Choose one trade and one intake path first. We would follow representative requests from arrival to office action, then build around the gaps the team can identify.

Implementation, management & usage
  1. Map the decision

Document what can be acknowledged, what needs an assessment and who can book or price the work.

  2. Test the difficult calls

Use duplicate contacts, out-of-area addresses, ambiguous urgency and unavailable slots to test the handoff.

  3. Review real operation

Agree measures such as complete intake records, unresolved office tasks and duplicate requests before expanding the workflow.

Before you scope a project

Questions worth asking.

Can estimate follow-up stop when a customer replies?

That is a useful workflow to scope. Connect the customer reply to the right property and estimate, pause scheduled reminders, and give the estimator the conversation. An accepted quote, changed job scope or cancellation needs its own next step; none should keep receiving the same unanswered-estimate sequence.

Does this replace our dispatcher?

The examples support dispatch by preparing and routing information. Your dispatcher retains assignment, scheduling exceptions and judgment about the job.

Can one setup cover every trade?

Some intake patterns can be shared, but trade-specific questions, service areas, capacity and escalation rules need their own review. We would not use the same script for a roofing estimate and an urgent plumbing call.

Do we need a new field-service platform?

Not automatically. We assess your current platform, its native features and permitted integration access before recommending a change.

Sources & implementation context

  • Jobber: converting a request to a quote or job

Official workflow documentation distinguishes a request, an assessment and the decision to create a quote or job. It is context, not a claim of a SOORVO partnership or existing Jobber deployment.

Start with the work

Bring one service request, the tools it passes through and the point where your office has to intervene.

Bring the request, the tools it touches and the decision your team needs to keep.
